Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2, 2026 · Draft

TRAX is operated by Bianca Ruehlig, sole proprietor ("TRAX", "we", "us"), [registered address]. These terms are the agreement between you and us for using TRAX. By creating an account or using TRAX, you agree to them.

1. Who can use TRAX

You must be at least 18 years old. If you use TRAX for a company or band, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for it.

Give accurate details, keep your login private, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it. You're responsible for what happens on your account.

2. Plans, trials and payment

  • Producer Starter, Pro Studio and Label Enterprise start with a 30-day free trial, with no credit card. You're never charged unless you choose to subscribe.
  • Plans are billed monthly or yearly, in advance, through Stripe, and renew automatically until you cancel. Prices and each plan's platform royalty (a small percentage of payouts made through TRAX) are on the pricing page. Taxes may apply.
  • If prices change, existing members keep the price they're on.
  • White Label is set up with us directly and covered by the White Label agreement.

3. Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel any time from Your account. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for, and isn't renewed after that.

Payments aren't refunded, including for part of a month or year. If you're charged twice or by mistake, we'll put it right. The Refund Policy has the details.

4. When a trial or a subscription ends

When a 30-day trial you started yourself ends without a subscription, your account is paused, not deleted: everything you made stays as it is for 90 days, and you can subscribe any time to pick up where you left off. On day 97 the account is archived. Archived isn't deleted: we keep it for at least a year, and you can bring it back by subscribing or by contacting us.

A trial our team set up for you becomes read-only when it ends, and your data is kept for at least 30 days.

When a subscription ends, your account is locked but your work stays saved. You can still export it, subscribe again, or delete your account.

5. Your content

You own what you create and upload: music, lyrics, recordings, files and documents. You give us only the permission we need to store it, process it, and show it to the people you choose (for example, collaborators on a project). We don't claim ownership, and we don't train AI models on your content.

6. Collaborators, splits and agreements

When you invite people to a project, they see what their role allows. Splits, approvals and credits in TRAX record what the people involved enter and agree to.

TRAX's agreement and split-sheet templates and its e-signatures are tools to help you record your agreements. TRAX isn't a law firm and doesn't give legal, tax or financial advice. For anything important, talk to your own adviser.

7. AI features

Features like the Lyric Helper, Rights Suggest and the Business Coach make suggestions. You decide what to use, and they can be wrong. The Lyric Helper never writes your lyrics for you. When a feature uses an outside AI provider, what's sent and when is listed in the Privacy Policy.

8. Acceptable use

  • No unlawful content, and nothing that infringes someone else's rights.
  • No attempts to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer TRAX, or to get into accounts or data that aren't yours.
  • No sending spam or harmful files through TRAX.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep TRAX running and improving, and features may change. We'll tell you before a change that takes away something you pay for.

10. Ending the agreement

You can download your data any time, and delete your account in Settings (with a 30-day grace period, or straight away; cancel an active subscription first). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, telling you why unless the law stops us.

11. Liability

TRAX is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by [governing law and courts].

13. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll post the new version here with its date, and tell you by email or in TRAX before a material change takes effect.
